How do you save a dying kitten?
Wrap the kitten in a towel or blanket and add a heat source. A heating pad is an effective option, or alternatively, put rice in a sock or cloth bag and microwave it for a couple of minutes to heat it. Place a couple drops of Karo syrup or sugar dissolved in water in your cat’s mouth every three minutes.
How do kittens act before they die?
Dying cats will become withdrawn and irritable, unprovoked aggression may become more common, the cat’s appetite will change, and it’ll spend more time hiding or become clingy as it feels afraid. Heavy breathing, seizures, lower body temperatures, and an unkempt appearance are other signs.
